Some thoughts, mainly random rantings. I was 23 when I started this blog, and as time goes on some thoughts will remain the same, some views may change when I am no longer the observer but actually the performer, in this play that is life. These thoughts simply reflect a bit of the chaos that plays through my mind every day as I take a moment to observe the little details that I encounter along my path.

what will happen when the UN ignores a call for a ceasefire.
From Yahoo news 15/07/06
... Argentina's U.N. Ambassador Cesar Mayoral said the United States objected to any statement and Britain opposed calling for a cease-fire.
The U.S. and Britain want to wait for the outcome of this weekend's Group of Eight meeting in Russia, an Arab League foreign ministers meeting, and a mission sent to the Middle East by Secretary-General Kofi Annan, Mayoral and other diplomats said...
France's U.N. Ambassador Jean-Marc de La Sabliere, the current council president, confirmed "there was no agreement on a text tonight, but we will meet on Monday."
"Many delegations would have liked to have a very prompt reaction," he said. "Others think the spotlight should be elsewhere, not here in the council. "
But Lebanon's Mahmoud protested, saying while innocent civilians are killed, "here we are impotent."

Mahmoud is right, Isn't the job of the UN to try to at least stop the war, why was the call for a ceasefire ignored!!!
When civilians are getting killed everyday then why are they even waiting till Monday to decide on their next move, is this NOT WRONG!

I agree with you.stop the war.
Israel has not declared it a war. It's simply trying to get it's soldiers back and as of now is trying to defend itself against the onslaught of the missiles coming from the Hezbollah!
I remember some eight years back reading that wars in the future will be facelss and will not have national identities. At the time I ddn't really capture the meaning of that statement but this current crisis explains that statement perfectly. Israel is bombarding Lebanon (that isn't the enemy) to drive out Hezbollah from S Lebanon! Hezbollah uses the Lebanese people (its hosts) as human shields and watch their blood bath!
Hi Id, I purposely decided to not be politically correct in my blogs on this issue and forget all political issues because I just wanted to come out and state that it is wrong!!! Innocent people are dying for no reason.
Two parties fighting seems like a war even though it was not offically declared:).
A scary war this is! Wouldn't you agree? 'A' fights 'B', and yet it's a third party 'C' sufferring the highest casualties.
thats the problem with wars, Peter always pays for Paul.
This is all so sad...so very sad...
