Some thoughts, mainly random rantings. I was 23 when I started this blog, and as time goes on some thoughts will remain the same, some views may change when I am no longer the observer but actually the performer, in this play that is life. These thoughts simply reflect a bit of the chaos that plays through my mind every day as I take a moment to observe the little details that I encounter along my path.

Trinidad's first female Prime Minister!!!
She won by a landslide!
For a long time this little island, has waited for a change, after being ruled by a political party that pardoned terrorists, decided that a blimp was an effective tool to fight crime with, a prime minister who appointed his wife as minister of Education, yes we needed change!
A little country struggling with a ridiculous murder rate, compared to the size of the population, a prime minister who led the country into financial ruin, finally the people have risen and spoken.
A political fool, who calls an early election twice and loses twice! How was he ever elected in the first place? Then again he did fill the country with his own 'citizens'.
Finally!!! Congratulations Kamla Persaud Bissasar, our new prime minister, the country has been steered a bit off course over the past decade, this is the time to try and set the wheels of change in motion so that this tiny little island can prosper.
I cannot believe it, we have waited for this so long, It is incredible, listening to live feed from the radio, and hearing the relief and joy in the peoples' voice!

'Change' always holds promise :)
@ Id: Do we dare to accept it, that's always the question.
There is always racial tension in Trinidad over elections, but they always flow smoothly with no bloodshed, apart from the arguments, I think that the people know deep down that they are all in this together.
@ buggies: yes phone bill was paid!
