Some thoughts, mainly random rantings. I was 23 when I started this blog, and as time goes on some thoughts will remain the same, some views may change when I am no longer the observer but actually the performer, in this play that is life. These thoughts simply reflect a bit of the chaos that plays through my mind every day as I take a moment to observe the little details that I encounter along my path.

Toasting bread--literally

So they switched the toaster oven on me. This new one is all sleek and black looking with so many functions it could be the cousin of knight rider. ( I sorta expected the toaster oven to greet me and make my breakfast for me but after greeting it and not getting a response, I realised that I would have to do it myself!) Now what do you do, if you simply want a slice of toast and it takes you about 5 minutes and 3 steps to figure out how to do so. Now appliances are getting to complicated for me! I am essentially a simpleton so can you imagine my dilemma this moring when I am trying to toast the bread and the toaster oven says broil, bake warm and then toast. So I selected toast and nothing happened, then I realised that I had to select the temperature ( about 25 options here), still nothing happened and above all that I had to select the time as well ( still more confusing). Can you imagine 3 steps to toast one slice of bread! Whatever happened to the real toasters where you just pushed the lever down and toast popped out? A toaster whose sole purpose and fuction of its time be to toast my bread and nothing more!
Anyways, end result I burned the bread, but ate it anyway.
